PBSC (Peripheral Blood Stem Cell) Donation is non-surgical and includes pre retrieval injections and blood retrieval through a needle. Discomfort and side effects vary from person to person and by procedure. Most marrow donors experience some side effects after donation. Common side effects of marrow donation include, but are not limited to:
